1. Do you sell toys?
I'm sorry but I do not sell my toys. I don't own most of the toys on my site
and it is just lists of toys that I may or may not have or want. Please don't
beg me I really love my collection and would only part with it if I was about
to be throw out on the street!

2. Where can I get toys?
The best places to look are eBay and Yahoo Auctions Japan which you can bid
on through Rinkya.com. There are stores all over the internet and there are
a few on my links page but online stores
usually
don't have much and almost never have rare items.

3. How much is that toy REALLY worth?
Well it depends on a lot of factors. My first bit of advice is to check completed
auctions at ebay. I have seen sellers try to sell not rare items at crazy
prices and when people see it is the only one up for auction at that time
they start to think maybe it is rare and get caught up in the bidding. So
see how often it comes up on eBay in completed auctions, look around for
sites that sell anime toys to see if it is there and ALWAYS check the sellers
feedback
and
if it
looks fishy maybe even scan their completed auctions to see if they have
sold the same item before. I have seen auctions where the item was sold for
a huge amount but then was relisted due to a non paying bidder. This could
be legit or it could be someone pushing up the bids for them.
Second how much is it worth to you? Is it worth $200 for that piece of plastic
or not? Will it break your bank? Is it something that will come up again
when you have better funds to pay for it?
Third how old is it? Live action SM items are fairly new and common. North
American versions of toys are common. Japanese versions tend to be less common
and more sought after. So make sure you know the maker. And there is a difference
between Bandai Japan and Bandai Asia.

4. Will you buy my toys?
Maybe! I have bought toys through emails to my site as well as through links
to auctions sent to me. It really just depends on my funds at that particular
time. It never hurts to ask, but keep in mind I do tend to know the fair
value of toys.

5. How can I tell if a toy is a rip of or the real thing?
LABELS! Labels are EVERYTHING. This is mostly an issue with sailor
mon toys. If it is a "Magic Stick" wand it is a rip off
even though it may look exactly the same. Look for the bandai logo, look
for the actual sailor moon logo whether it is Japanese, American, or European
and not just a crescent moon on the box. Look at the color of the plastic.

6. What is this toy?
Send me a link and I may be able to help you!

7. Why don't you have xyz toys?
Depending on the toy it may not fit in with the view of my site, I may not
watch the show, or I may not have seen it yet. I try to focus on TV show
replicas so I don't put every random planner calculator whatever on the site.
There is the occasional toy that makes me go WTF and so I put it up with
the other toys. I haven't watched new anime shows in a few years so I've
been sticking with
what I
know. There are so many shows out there that I just cant cover
them all. I had attempted to get the Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch toys
and the Ojamajo DoReMi toys but I had not seen much of the shows and there
are a lot of toys!

8. Who the heck are you anyway?
Ok not an FAQ but there isn't another place to put it. I am a teacher
who loves shoujo anime. I have been collecting sailor moon toys since I was
in high school, I guess since...1998 or'99 when I was introduced to subtitled
anime by a friend of mine. I started watching subbed SM before I saw the
American Dub and that strongly shaped my views of anime. My first toys were
the North
American Sailor Moon Locket and Crescent Moon wand bought on sale at KB Toys.
I have spent countless dollars on my collection and plan to spend countless
more. I was also an officer of UGAnime (External Affairs and President) the anime club for the University of Georgia. So that's
me and my credentials!
